Its wide 80 mm face covers the joint between adjoining floors while the 4.2 mm height keeps the profile low and unobtrusive.

It works well with laminate, fitted carpet, parquet and terracotta tiles. Therefore, it can be used in hallways, door thresholds and open plan areas where a clean connection between flooring sections is required.

Wide Coverage with a Low Profile

The 80 mm width provides generous coverage across protruding or exposed floor edges. Meanwhile, the shallow 4.2 mm profile creates a smooth transition without adding unnecessary height to the floor connection.

Anodised aluminium gives the strip resistance to corrosion and regular wear. Silver, Gold and Champagne finishes are available, allowing the threshold to complement different interior flooring styles.

Two lengths provide flexibility for different openings. The profile comes in 1000 mm and 2000 mm lengths and can also be shortened with a hacksaw where required.

Depending on the selected variant, installation can be completed using either a screw fixing method or a self adhesive option. This makes the profile suitable for both new flooring work and replacing an existing worn trim.

In areas where the flooring continues onto a staircase, stair nosings can provide separate protection for exposed step edges while the threshold strip completes the level floor connection.

Where a staircase needs additional grip at the tread edge, an anti slip stair nosing can serve that specific purpose without affecting the floor transition itself.

Overall, this 80 mm threshold offers wide joint coverage, a low 4.2 mm profile and a choice of installation methods for equal height flooring surfaces.

Complete Your Floor Transition with Stair Nosing Hut

A low profile threshold can keep equal height flooring joins looking cleaner without adding unnecessary bulk. Stair Nosing Hut offers practical profile options in different dimensions and finishes for varied interior requirements.
