Description

The Self Adhesive Aluminium Door Threshold Strip is designed for flooring surfaces that meet at the same height. It covers the joint between the two areas and creates a smooth finished connection. Therefore, it is useful where a clean transition is needed without a raised edge.

This 30 mm wide profile works with laminate, terracotta, carpet, tiles and other flooring types. It can be used across doorways, between rooms or along open floor connections. As a result, one profile can suit several indoor flooring layouts.

Simple Appearance for Different Interiors

The aluminium door bar has a slim and tidy design. It helps define the flooring joint without making the transition look bulky. Meanwhile, the anodised aluminium construction provides resistance to corrosion and regular wear.

Four finishes are available. These are Anodised Silver, Polished Silver, Polished Gold and Brushed Silver. Therefore, the trim can be selected to work with different floor colours and interior finishes.

Colours shown on a screen may vary slightly depending on individual display settings.

Fitting Without Screws

The Self Adhesive Aluminium Door Threshold Strip uses an adhesive backing rather than mechanical fixings. Consequently, screws and drilling are not needed.

The 930 mm profile can also be shortened when required. Once cut to length, the protective backing is removed and the trim is pressed over the flooring join.

This aluminium threshold can be used for new flooring work or when replacing a worn trim. Overall, it provides a straightforward way to finish equal height floor connections in homes, offices and commercial spaces.

Material & Finish

The threshold strip is made from anodised aluminium. Therefore, it provides resistance to corrosion and regular wear while keeping the floor connection neat.

Four finish options are available. These include Anodised Silver, Polished Silver, Polished Gold and Brushed Silver. Each gives the aluminium profile a different appearance for coordinating with surrounding flooring. However, displayed colours may vary slightly because of individual screen settings.

Installation

Prepare the Length

Begin by measuring the floor connection. If necessary, mark the required size on the aluminium strip and cut it carefully with a hacksaw.

Prepare the Surface

Clean the fitting area before installation. The floor should be completely dry and free from dust.

Position the Trim

Remove the protective layer from the adhesive backing. Next, place the threshold carefully over the flooring join.

Secure the Profile

Once aligned, press firmly along the entire 930 mm profile or along the cut length being used. Check that the strip makes contact across the full fitting area.

Installation Reminder

Correct surface preparation is important for the adhesive backing. Therefore, do not apply the profile to a surface that is dusty or wet.
