The Aluminium Wood Effect Door Threshold Strip is designed to create a neat transition between different flooring surfaces. It can be used between carpet, laminate, parquet and tiles. In addition, it can help cover small differences in floor height where two surfaces meet.

The profile has a 47mm width and a 930mm length. It is made from aluminium and features a laminated wood effect surface. Therefore, it provides a wood style appearance while being used as a flooring transition profile.

The strip has a 2 in 1 mounting system. It can be fitted using the self adhesive backing or the dowel fixing method. As a result, the profile provides two installation options for different flooring areas. Dowel fixing uses the supplied dowels and plugs.

The laminated surface is designed to resist tearing and scratching. It also provides a clear wood effect finish. Furthermore, the profile uses an invisible fixing system so that screws are not visible after installation.

The Aluminium Wood Effect Door Threshold Strip is suitable for doorways, stair tops and areas between rooms. It can be used for flooring transitions in residential and commercial interiors. It is also suitable for joining floors where there are uneven joins or small height differences.

Material & Finish

Installation

  1. Measure the required length for the flooring transition.
  2. Mark the cutting point on the profile.
  3. Cut the strip to size using a fine tooth hacksaw.
  4. Ensure the installation surface is clean dry and free from dust.
  5. Select the preferred fixing method.
  6. For self adhesive fitting, remove the backing.
  7. Position the profile and press it firmly onto the surface.
  8. For dowel fixing, drill the required holes in the floor.
  9. Insert the supplied plugs and align the dowels.
  10. Push the profile into position.
  11. Check that the profile is correctly aligned.
