Description

The Aluminium Door Threshold Strip creates a smooth connection where two flooring surfaces meet at the same height. Its flat 40 mm profile covers the join neatly while helping prevent raised or exposed edges from becoming a trip point.

It works with laminate, terracotta, carpet, vinyl and tiled floors. Therefore, it can be used across a variety of interior flooring combinations. The profile is suitable for doorways, room entrances and other areas where different floor coverings meet.

Made from anodised aluminium, the strip provides resistance to corrosion and everyday wear. Meanwhile, its wide flat shape gives the floor joint stable coverage without creating an unnecessarily bulky transition.

Two length options are available. Choose 1 metre for smaller connections or 2 metres where a longer section is required. In addition, the aluminium strip can be cut down with a hacksaw for a more precise fit.

The profile is available in Silver, Gold and Champagne. As a result, you can select a finish that works with the surrounding floor and interior.

Fixing is completed using screws and plugs. Once secured, the Aluminium Door Threshold Strip creates a defined connection between equal height flooring surfaces.

It is suitable for homes, offices and commercial interiors. Furthermore, it can be used for new flooring projects or when an existing worn trim needs replacing.

Material & Finish

The threshold strip is made from anodised aluminium. This gives the profile resistance to corrosion and everyday wear while keeping the floor transition neat and durable.

Three finishes are available: Silver, Gold and Champagne. The wide flat surface creates a simple appearance that works with different interior flooring styles.

Installation

Measure and Cut

Measure the floor joint before fitting. If the full profile is not required, mark the correct length and cut the aluminium strip using a hacksaw.

Check the Position

Place the trim over the flooring connection. Make sure it sits evenly across both surfaces and covers the joint correctly.

Mark the Fixings

Use the designated fixing points to mark where the holes need to be drilled.

Secure the Threshold

  1. Drill the required holes.
  2. Position the profile again.
  3. Insert the included plugs.
  4. Secure the strip using the screws.
  5. Check that the profile sits firmly and evenly.

Before Installation

The floor should be clean, dry and level before the threshold is fitted. This helps the profile sit correctly across the full flooring transition.
