Description

The pine wood corner trim is a natural timber profile designed to finish and protect 90° internal and external corners. Its L shaped form covers exposed edges, rough joints and visible imperfections while creating a cleaner finish around the surrounding surface.

This profile can be used as angle beading, corner moulding, corner edging or pine corner beading. Therefore, it provides a practical finishing option across different interior joinery projects.

Natural Timber For Interior Finishing

The pine surface is supplied smooth and ready for further finishing. It can be painted, varnished, stained or oiled to coordinate with the surrounding interior.

Equal and unequal profiles are available for different corner requirements. Equal sizes range from 20 x 20 mm to 60 x 60 mm, while the unequal options are 50 x 20 mm and 70 x 30 mm.

The 50 mm pine angle moulding is the most popular size for wall and panel corners. Meanwhile, the other dimensions provide alternatives for smaller or wider edges.

Two lengths are available at 1000 mm and 2400 mm. The longer profile helps reduce the number of joins required across extended runs.

The wood corner trim can be used around wall corners, reveals, wall panelling, cladding and furniture edges. It is also suitable for shelving, cabinets, pipe boxing, radiator runs, worktop transitions, flooring transitions, picture frames and general timber joinery.

On an external corner, the profile covers and protects the exposed edge. On an internal corner, it masks the joint between two surfaces. As a result, the same timber angle can serve several finishing purposes around an interior.

The trim can be fixed using panel pins, nails, screws or adhesive. Once installed, any fixing holes can be filled before applying the chosen paint, varnish, stain or oil finish.

Material & Finish

This profile is made from natural pine, giving the trim a warm timber appearance rather than a manufactured surface effect. The wood is sanded smooth so it can be installed as supplied or finished to suit the surrounding interior.

Paint can create a completely different colour, while stain or oil can retain more of the natural timber character. Varnish is another available finishing option. Once fully sealed and painted, the pine is moisture tolerant and is best suited to interior joinery.

Installation

  • Measure the corner and cut the trim with a fine tooth saw.
  • Mitre the ends at 45° where two lengths meet at a corner.
  • Fix with panel pins, nails, screws or strong grab adhesive.
  • Fill fixing holes and finish with paint, varnish, stain or oil.
