The Self Adhesive Floor Trim Wood Effect offers a neat way to finish exposed flooring edges and cover expansion gaps. It is designed for laminate and wood floors. Meanwhile, the slim 25 mm x 10 mm profile creates a tidy detail without making the finished edge look bulky.

Finish the Small Details

Expansion gaps can interrupt the appearance of a completed floor. This trim covers those areas while adding a decorative edge. Therefore, it can be used where a cleaner connection is required around thresholds, expansion joints and stair edges.

The aluminium base gives the profile its structure. For the wood effect option, a laminated surface adds a natural timber style appearance. In addition, the laminate is tear resistant and designed to withstand wear and scratches during regular use.

Two Different Looks

The trim is available in Wood Effect and Anodised Aluminium finishes. As a result, you can choose between a timber inspired appearance or a simpler aluminium look according to the surrounding flooring.

The Self Adhesive Floor Trim Wood Effect is particularly suited to laminate and wooden floors because its decorative surface can blend more naturally with these finishes.

An integrated self adhesive backing keeps installation simple. There is no need for drilling or screws. Instead, the trim is cut to the required length before being positioned directly over the gap.

Material & Finish

The trim has an aluminium base which provides the main structure of the profile. The wood effect version has a tear resistant laminated surface designed to give the trim a natural timber style appearance while resisting wear and scratches.

Two finish choices are available. These are Wood Effect and Anodised Aluminium. Therefore, the profile can be selected either to coordinate with laminate and wood floors or to provide a more traditional aluminium appearance.

Installation

Cut to Fit

Measure the area where the trim will be installed. Next, mark the required length and cut the profile using a fine tooth hacksaw.

Clean the Surface

Remove dust and dirt from the installation area. The surface must also be dry before fitting.

Remove the Backing

Peel away the protective layer from the self adhesive strip. Avoid positioning the trim until the alignment has been checked.

Cover the Gap

Place the profile carefully over the expansion gap, threshold or required flooring edge. Once aligned, press firmly along the complete length.

Installation Note

The adhesive should make proper contact with the fitting surface. Therefore, always apply the trim to a clean, dry and dust free area.
