Installation

Dowels and Adhesive Fitting

  1. Check that the stair surface is smooth, clean and dry.
  2. Position the profile and identify the required fixing locations.
  3. Drill holes at the designated points on the stair edge.
  4. Insert the fixing dowels into the track underneath the profile.
  5. Align the dowels with the drilled holes.
  6. Press the profile securely into position.
  7. Apply assembly glue around the required areas.
  8. Use the glue to help seal the edges against moisture and dirt.
  9. Allow sufficient drying time before using the stairs.

Surface Preparation

The substrate should be smooth, clean and dry before installation. Correct preparation helps the dowels and adhesive secure the profile properly while keeping the finished edge neat.
